About UETIANS Lahore Endowment Foundation

The UETIANS Lahore Endowment Foundation (ULEF), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the legacy of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. Established by passionate alumni, ULEF is committed to supporting UET Lahore in its mission to foster academic excellence and innovation, helping to create a brighter future for students and faculty alike.

Our Donation Model allows you to make a meaningful and strategic impact, helping support UET’s next generation of engineers and innovators.

Explore different ways to make a meaningful contribution to the UETIANS Lahore Endowment Foundation. Each model offers unique benefits for donors and allows for strategic financial planning to maximize impact.

Gift by Will or Trust

Leave a lasting legacy by designating your family farm, estate, or other assets to the Foundation through your will or trust. Through a fund agreement with the Foundation, the income from your estate can be used to create an enduring legacy under a name or label of your choosing. This approach provides flexibility throughout your lifetime while also offering the potential for a charitable estate tax deduction.

Gift with Retained Life Estate

Donate your property while retaining full rights and responsibilities during your lifetime. Under federal tax law, you can make an irrevocable gift of your property and still continue to use it throughout your lifetime, as well as your spouse’s or another beneficiary’s lifetime. This option provides an immediate income tax deduction, allowing you to make a significant impact while still maintaining use of your property.

Charitable Trust

A charitable lead trust allows you to establish a source of payments to the Foundation to support specific programs. Payments can be structured to last for a set period—ranging from a few years to a lifetime. Once the charitable payment term ends, the remaining interest can revert to you or pass to your designated heirs, allowing for greater financial flexibility and alignment with your philanthropic goals.

Benevity for Pre-Tax Donations

To make a pre-tax donation through Benevity, log in to your employer’s giving portal, search for “UETIANS Lahore Endowment Foundation, US,” and follow the instructions. As the largest giving platform, Benevity processes 501(c)(3) donations and includes an employer matching option, maximizing your contribution’s impact. You’ll receive an acknowledgment from both Benevity and your employer, and your donation will be reflected as a pre-tax contribution on your W-2. Benevity charges a 1.99% processing fee, with only the net donation amount and employer match going directly to the Foundation.

Our Team

The UETIANS Lahore Endowment Foundation was born from the shared vision and commitment of a small group of 66UET alumni based in North America. Driven by a desire to support the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, they laid the groundwork for what would become a powerful force for change. As more like-minded friends joined this mission, resources grew, and so did the ambition to create a lasting impact.

Today, our team of dedicated alumni and supporters has not only funded ongoing initiatives but also established a substantial and permanent financial endowment. This endowment is a self-sustaining, self-renewing legacy, designed to provide ongoing support and propel our mission forward, year after year.
